Everything You Need to Know

Course FAQs

Block One: Technique & Theory Foundations

Perfect for players who need a technical audit. During the course, you will receive guidance on optimising your posture, hand angles, plucking and muting so that you can achieve clean, even execution.

Strong technique provides the foundation for speed, accuracy and control before progressing into theory, fretboard knowledge and harmony.

Joining from Week Five

If your technique is already secure, you may be able to join Block One from Week Five at a reduced rate. From this point, the course focuses on theory, fretboard navigation and harmonic confidence. All course materials are included, regardless of your starting date.

Block Two: Rhythm, Feel & Slap Technique

Block Two focuses on the engine of your playing: timing and groove. We explore rhythm pyramids, subdivisions, phrasing and dynamics to help you develop a stronger sense of feel. The block concludes with slap bass, moving beyond basic mechanics to help you construct original and articulate riffs.

Block Three: Advanced Harmony & Improvisation

Designed for intermediate and advanced players with a strong grasp of the Block One material. We explore walking bass lines, blues-based improvisation and soloing through common harmonic progressions. This block develops the theoretical framework needed to improvise confidently across a range of musical styles.

Next Course Intake

A future course block is also being planned for students based outside the UK and European time zones. Dates and times for this option are still to be confirmed.

Ask About Upcoming Dates

We understand that you may occasionally be unable to attend a live lesson.

After each session, lesson notes will be provided so that you can review the material covered. Supporting video clips will also be supplied where appropriate to demonstrate the lesson content and exercises.

End-of-Course Catch-Up

A catch-up date will be provided at the end of the course. This session gives students an opportunity to ask questions about missed lessons and any of the supporting materials supplied during the course.

Missed sessions are not normally repeated individually, so students are encouraged to use the notes, video resources and final catch-up opportunity to stay on track.

Course fees are paid in advance. Payment can be made by bank transfer, PayPal or Stripe.

After you have confirmed your place, an invoice will be sent to your email address with the relevant payment instructions.
